PlusRated Gets Deeper Integration With Facebook And Sexier Homepage

As always, our recent release unveils several new updates and features that we hope will make our users excited.

I am happy to announce a better integration with Facebook. Now you can request a review from your friends and connections in Facebook and this is done seamlessly, with a simple click of button:

You have two options: either post a rating request as a public message to your wall, or choose specific friends of yours and post a message, requesting a review of your skills, to their walls.

The next step in integration was sharing your suggestions with your friends.  We had this feature for Twitter for a while, but it was obvious that many people would prefer to have the same functionality for the Facebook, too.  So here it comes:

You do not have to be signed in with Facebook to do this.  And if we don’t have you Facebook information, we will authorize you first.

And the last thing for today is that our home page is becoming more sexy. Or at least, it is to me. We had a serious reason to work on these changes – a lot of visitors complained that we weren’t clear enough.  Among other things, now you can see the activity updates, recent blog posts and our new demo right away.  Hopefully our updated page will help the new visitors to understand the value and they will join our community.

Thank you for using PlusRated!

More Features Coming to PlusRated

I am happy to announce the next set of features that were added to PlusRated.  Among making plenty fo bug fixes and code changes, we are also putting some stress into usability of our product.

A lot of users told us that they would like to see the “human translated” description of their skill level.  Well, here it comes.

It’s color coded as well as spelled out.

Next, we keep improving our charts.

Some of us already called charts updates “a neverending endeavor”.

And last, but not least thing is that you can sign in to PlusRated from any network that you choose – it could be either Twitter, Facebook or your Google Account.

No passwords, no headache.  Once authenticated, it’s just click & you are in immediately experience.

If you already have an account with PlusRated – great and no worries! – you can link your social accounts from My Settings menu and you will be able to login with any of those accounts right away.

We are also working on a regular newsletter that will be sent to all of our subscribers, to keep you on track with the most recent changes that are coming to PlusRated.  We were told (from this survey – you can take it, too, if you have not, yet) that you really like interviews with other people.  So we are going to put some stress on that, too.

Finally, people, seriously, we do need your feedback.  Visit us on our Feedback page and tell us what do you want.  You will get it, promise.
